WDCS A CWOSSA Jr. Boys’ Volleyball Silver Medalists

Walkerton District junior boys stepped up their game at the 2018 A CWOSSA championship, and came away with the silver medal. The Riverhawks finished second in their pool, which set up an all BAA semi-final against Kincardine District Knights. SDSS Win Jr. Boys’ AA CWOSSA Volleyball

The Saugeen District Royals played their best volleyball of the season, and came away the  2018 AA CWOSSA junior boys volleyball champions. BAA Basketball

Last Friday, November 9th,  Walkerton District hosted the 2018 BAA Girls’ Basketball championship.  Both the junior and senior championship games had very exciting finishes. BAA Baseball

Georgian Bay Community School captured the 2018 BAA Baseball championship last Friday in Kincardine.     The Thunder kept a clean sheet over two games, beating Walkerton District 10 – 0 in the semi final and then Kincardine 3 – 0 in the final.   GBCS pitchers were the stars of the day,  giving up only four hits over two games. BAA Cross Country

  The 2018 BAA Cross Country Championship was run on Thursday, October 18 at Sawmill Trails in Hepworth. St. Mary’s  won their 6th straight overall team title.  The SMHS girls’ teams won the senior and midget girls events.   Kincardine District has an impressive boys team that won the junior and senior boys team events.   Bruce Peninsula District won the midget boys team event. The north and south baseball tournaments take place this week. The north tournament takes place on Tuesday, October 2nd at Moreau Park in Thornbury.   Games begin at 9 am.
