St. Mary’s High School captured the Sr. girls title with a dominant 50 – 39 win over Walkerton District. SMHS beat Sacred Heart in one semi-final, while Walkerton got past Owen Sound in the other semi-final.
John Diefenbaker took the Jr. girls title with a smooth 33 – 19 victory over Owen Sound. The win capped off an impressive BAA season, where the Jr Trojans scored twice as many points than they gave up. JDSS beat Georgian Bay to get to the final, while OSDSS beat Walkerton.
